Google Ads’ new AI-powered Dashboards are starting to appear in some advertiser accounts, allowing users to create visual performance reports using simple text prompts.

Instead of manually assembling a report to investigate a performance change, for example, an advertiser can describe what they want to analyze and have Google generate the visualization.
Why we care. Building reports in Google Ads has traditionally required advertisers to manually select metrics, dimensions and visualizations. AI Dashboards shift more of that work to Gemini, letting advertisers describe what they want to analyze and have Google build the report for them.

Each generated report also includes a real-time AI summary designed to explain the “why” behind the data, according to Google.
That means advertisers can use the dashboard to help answer questions such as what changed in campaign performance and what may be driving those changes, rather than only looking at the underlying numbers.

The company has also introduced AI-powered insights on the Google Ads homepage and Ask Advisor, its in-product AI agent, as it pushes toward workflows where advertisers can ask questions about performance in natural language rather than manually navigating reports.
